The American Association of University Women meets monthly, usually on the 2nd Saturday of the month at the First Congregational Church of Winter Park, 225 S. Interlochen Avenue (at New England Avenue) in Winter Park.

Opening Tea - Saturday September 26, 2009 from 3:30 to 5:30 at
First Congregational Church, 225 S. October 24  - Edwanna Andrews, Assistant Director of Leadership Development for the Student Leadership Development Office at the University of Central Florida, will discuss women’s leadership on the UCF campus and mentoring opportunities for our members

November 14 - Jessica Gagnon, Project Specialist, University of Central Florida Global Perspectives Office

December 12 - Holiday Party

September 13 - Membership Tea - Members and prospective members were invited.  This event provided an opportunity to meet members and learn more about the numerous interest groups, hear about scholarships and the community service of AAUW.  No Charge or reservations required for this occasion.

October 18  - Jean Siegfried from the League of Women Voters discussed the league and the 2008 elections.

November 8 - Dr. Gail D. Sinclair, Executive Director and Scholar-in-Residence, Winter Park Institute, Rollins College

December 13 - Holiday Party with entertainment from Rollins College Music Department

January 10 -  Betsy Gwinn, Executive Director of the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park

February 14 - Emily Rankin, Executive Director of OurLando; and Gabby Othon, Director of Audobon Park Community Market.

March 14 - Literary Luncheon with Stacy Barton, author of Surviving Nashville and Babba and I Went Hunting Today. 11:30 at the University Club of Winter Park.  Fund raiser for Educational Foundation, PACE Center for Girls and scholarships $35.
